Beautify Florida State University
Beautify FSU is the first collegiate affiliate of Keep Florida Beautiful. They strive to keep FSU and the broader Tallahassee community beautiful through sustainability initiatives rooted in art, education and service. They host monthly park and green space cleanups, and post all their programming events on the Beautify FSU Instagram and in their Flare chat.
Chi Epsilon Pi
Chi Epsilon Pi is the honor society for outstanding meteorology students in the Department of Earth, Ocean, and Atmospheric Science. The Florida State University chapter has existed since 1966.
Florida Association of Environmental Professionals
The FSU Chapter of the Florida Association of Environmental Professionals connects students with local environmental professionals, state agencies and career opportunities. They regularly host guest speakers, networking events and workshops. Meetings are generally held on Mondays at 6 p.m. in EOAS Room 2061.
Florida State University Geological Society
The Florida State University Geological Society, or FSUGS, connects undergraduate and graduate students with a shared passion for geology and paleontology. Continuing a tradition established in the 1980s, FSUGS serves the broader FSU and EOAS communities through social gatherings, rock sales and student-led field trips.

Environmental Service Program
The Environmental Service Program is a student-run organization focused on ecological education and community service in the Red Hills bio-region. They host weekly meetings on Tuesdays from 7-8 p.m. in HCB, offering educational service trips and organizing volunteer campaigns.
Maji Project at FSU
The Maji Project at FSU is a student organization that is focused on preparing students to combat the global water bankruptcy crisis. The Maji Project offers students a chance to engage in peer advocacy, gain research experience, and volunteer locally with environmental and public health projects. The Maji Project meets on the third Thursday of the month at 6:30 p.m. in EOAS 2061.
North Florida Chapter of the American Meteorological Society and National Weather Association
The North Florida Chapter of the American Meteorological Society and National Weather Association is a community-based organization serving Tallahassee and the broader region of North Florida, South Georgia and Southeast Alabama. Through outreach, social programs, and monthly meetings, typically on Wednesdays from 5-6 p.m. in EOAS Room 6042, we connect students and community members with professionals in broadcast, operational and research meteorology, while giving students opportunities to network and explore career paths in the field.
Plant Futures
The Plant Futures Chapter at FSU is a branch of a larger organization. The club aims to create a fun community that encourages sustainability. They hold a monthly meeting and club social. They share topics on sustainability, have a Seminole organic garden plot for garden workdays, and share many plant-based recipes at each meeting. Thalassic Society
The FSU Thalassic Society is a graduate student organization within the Department of Earth, Ocean, and Atmospheric Science dedicated to fostering community, connection and collaboration among graduate students. Through social gatherings, outdoor activities, fundraisers, and professional development events, the society provides opportunities for students to connect beyond the classroom. Theta Pi Chapter of Sigma Gamma Epsilon
Welcome to the Theta Pi Chapter of Sigma Gamma Epsilon. We are a nationally recognized honor society for students in the earth sciences. Originally founded in 1915 at the University of Kansas, SGE has become a nationwide organization consisting of over 200 acting chapters. Florida State University has been honored with the Theta Pi chapter, where we will provide social venues and philanthropic opportunities while upholding professionalism and academic integrity.
