About
Mike Stukel is a professor and chair of the FSU Department of Earth, Ocean, and Atmospheric Science. Stukel leads the FSU Plankton Ecology and Biogeochemistry Lab, studying the role of plankton in global carbon and nitrogen cycles. Stukel earned his Ph.D. in biological oceanography from the University of California San Diego in 2011 and joined the FSU EOAS department in 2014.
